NIK HARTFIELD
is NIK HART STUDIOS—a versatile creative based in the CT/NYC area, and eager to build a wider reach! With a background spanning fashion, retail, business operations, and marketing, she’s honed the skills that have fueled her success as a dancer, singer, wardrobe stylist, digital designer, and content creator.

Born and raised in Hartford, Connecticut, Nik grew up immersed in the performing arts. Surrounded by a creative environment from an early age, she began training at 5 years old in ballet, African dance, tap, swing, jazz, modern/contemporary, and hip hop at The Artists Collective—a passion she still pursues whenever the opportunity arises.
Nik's journey into fashion began serendipitously during her professional dance career as a teenager training under the direction of Jolet Creary (Owner of Studio 860). After being discovered during a dance company photo shoot, she was invited to model for a local designer. That moment ignited her love for fashion and launched her into a new world, where she began building relationships with photographers, stylists, designers, and fellow models. After graduating high school and attending Temple University for a year, she realized her true calling was in fashion.
Transferring to the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) and relocating to New York City proved transformative. Nik gained hands-on experience through internships with fashion icons like Zac Posen and Isaac Mizrahi, worked backstage during New York Fashion Week—even attended a few shows as well! It was during this time that she took wardrobe styling seriously, collaborating with top photographers, models, and agencies to grow her portfolio and refine her craft.
Yet, music had always been a quiet force in Nik’s life. From singing solos in her church choir to performing at her performing arts center, her vocal talent was apparent. After graduating from FIT with two degrees in 2015, she officially stepped into the music industry by signing with MME Entertainment, followed by a recording deal with Guardfather Entertainment in 2016. Her debut single, “Love Me Crazy,” quickly gained traction, receiving airplay on SiriusXM’s Venus and various UK radio stations—eventually climbing to #10 on the UK Urban Charts. She later released a popular remix of the song with UK producer group FooR, continued to tour the East Coast and release new music, including her 2019 debut EP In My Head—available on all major streaming platforms.
Nik has also ventured into entrepreneurship, co-founding Nik Rosé and Blanc, a sparkling wine brand, and becoming a radio host on American Busker iHeart Radio with a show called Street Party.
From 2022 to 2023, she reached a pinnacle in her music career, opening for R&B legends such as Monica, Bobby Valentino, Joe, Keyshia Cole, Case, and Jon B. However, after years in the spotlight, Nik made the heartfelt decision to step away from the music industry as an artist—a decision that led to the launch of her latest creative endeavor: NIK HART STUDIOS.
While many knew her as the voice and face of her brand, few realized the depth of her work behind the scenes. Nik was the creative force and designer behind both artist and management websites (like MMENYC.COM), all her cover art images, promotional materials, music video editing, live performance choreography with dancers, wardrobe styling, and even the wine label designs.
In addition to her creative pursuits, Nik has simultaneoulsy built an impressive career in the retail and sales industry, with a focus on boutique and emerging brands. Her experience spans a wide range of roles including store management, inventory control, wholesale operations, bookkeeping, customer service, visual merchandising, and e-commerce photo shoot direction. With a strong blend of administrative expertise and creative vision, Nik brings a rare balance of analytical precision and artistic flair—making her a dynamic force in both business and design.
Now, with her focus shifted to creative direction and production, Nik Hart Studios represents the next evolution of her journey—a multi-faceted creative services company rooted in passion, precision, and innovation.
"With the launch of NIK HART STUDIOS, I am excited to expand my network with fellow creatives, businesses, and individuals interested in collaboration, freelance opportunities, or special events. Let's work!"
